DAY#313 - ROUND 2 Progress Report 3
The last 36 hours have been tough mentally. I have come to place of boredom with my diet. I am tired of eating similar foods and long for some change. Yesterday my obsession of the day was popcorn and I thought about it for several hours, I am glad no one made any in my house. Today I just want to snack and well snacking isn't much of an option, so i just stare at the clock and wait for the next time i can eat. To top that off my body is now cold again, loosing my extra insulation makes me chilly. My house is in the low 70s and I am wearing a hat, long underwear, thick sweats and wool socks. This from a guy who normally wears shorts 365. So a long icky day. However, I know this is just a funk and I will be back 'in the game' shortly.

My weigh in today showed me dropping 6lbs this past week. Making a total of 36lbs gone since Jan. 1. I am slightly disappointed cause I was hoping to see 7-8lbs a week so 6 is just a bit under my goal. But that may fall into place, I do know that as i weigh less my weight loss will get slower. I was just hoping for a bit more. I am sure you can relate.

I am back to my pre-vacation/pre-holiday weight zone so that is good and I am looking forward to this next week when I am hoping to break some new weight loss ground. I currently weigh what i weighed about when i graduated from High School. I don't have a perfect record of it but I know the range. So in just a few days I will be turning back my teenage years as I drop more weight. I am sure when I break through that barrier in just a few pounds I will recover any of my lost motivation and hopefully I can use that to carry me through the month of February.
