DAY#335 - What to do, What to do.
Well another 3 days have passed and my VCO (virgin coconut oil) experiment continues. Today is evaluation day so I am taking a look at what the last few days have produced and I am trying to decide where I go from here. For the moment I do not think the VCO is hurting my weight loss efforts at all. Actually if anything it freaked my body out for a few days and helped me loose a few pounds. However since the initial shock you will be amused to note that for the last 3 days I have stalled again. So I assume I am back to the stair step loosing I have consistency seen before.
Currently, I am concerned about 2 things/thoughts 1. What will happen in Phase 3, will my metabolism lock into my low weight? 2. Why do I need extra fat this time around? I have no real good answers to either of these things. My gut says I will still stabilize in Phase 3. But my brain says "yeah nothing is that simple." On the notion of my my brain needs fat my wife points out that the fattest meat (beef) that I used to eat in Round 1, I have rarely eaten in round 2 and maybe having a few extra grams of fat in my body made my body happier. Maybe?
Anyway I will continue on till the end of the week using VCO on my VLCD. I had said back in January that I planned on ending my VLCD by the last week of Feb, first week of March and Sunday marks the beginning of the last full week of February so my quest shall soon be done. I think prolonging phase 2 much longer isn't worth it.
