DAY#350 - Correction daze
Sorry I am late but I have a lot to report. The last few days have been an interesting trip. My phase 3 started off without a hitch and my weight remained steady for 5 days then it went crazy. The middle of last week I hit 2.2lbs over my LDW and decided because i had crossed my 2 pound barrier to do a correction day.
I chose to do a steak day, the only correction day in the good Dr's Protocol. So I ate nothing all day until about 4PM then I made myself a 24oz. Ribeye steak and ate an apple. The next day I was down within range and things seemed fine. The following day my weight was back up again. I thought I was doing a fine P3 so I was slightly confused at my weight issues. This time, I ignored my weight gain and waited another day. The next day my weight was up more. UGH!! I decided to do another correction day. The only correction day on protocol is a steak day but there are probably a dozen other days invented and tested by HCG followers. I chose to do a 'chicken day'. A chicken day consists of roasting a whole chicken and eating it all day long. I started with the dark meat and skin and worked my way through to the white meat I used a little bit of mayo and it was a yummy treat.
The following day I dropped 1.5lbs but I was still over my 2lb range, stubborn body. So I opted to change it up and do another correction day. The people I consider experts who have been doing HCG for a long time say never repeat the same correction day two times in a row. So I opted for an egg day. The object is to eat about a dozen eggs during the day and nothing else but a bit of mayo or cheese. So I had some scrambled eggs and made some deviled eggs. Which brought me another .7lb loss.
Which leads me to today. I am back to eating p3. I have cut back on my carbs in an effort to take things slower. I realized this past weekend after looking at my food logs on my net diary that I may have introduced too many carbs too fast. I didn't mean to, I think I just forgot exactly how careful I was last time. So my goal is to cut back on carbs for the rest of the week and then slowly slowly add them back in and see what my weight does. Hoping it chills out.
