DAY#353 - Traveling on P3
For the next few days I will be traveling and trying my hardest to stay p3 compliant. Not always an easy task when you are running through airports and staying in hotels far from home. So I needed a game plan going in. Failing to Plan is like planning to fail, right? So how I am gonna do it? I went to my favorite online food diary. mynetdiary.com and started planning my time away. I found snacks and food that I could eat and could travel and packed them in my suitcase and added them loosely to my daily food chart. I then looked for some restaurants that serve decent p3 faire. Steaks, meat, steamed veggies. Also checked to see if they have a gluten free menu. Most restaurants that have a gluten free menu have some selections on it that are good p3 fare. So I sprinkled them in to my plans and came up with a guideline to work from for the next few days. Will it work? I hope so.
I am also scale free, no weighing food and no weighing myself for days, this could be recipe for disaster but I truly believe if I stick to my plan, I will win. You and I both will have to wait until next week to find out how my gamble pays off. The last four days since my correction daze over the weekend have seen my weight stabilize so I am hoping for more of the same.
Today I am flying and driving and my snack of choice is Wasabi Edamame & celelry. Lots of fiber and little other carbs and a nice spicy kick and then a nice cool crunchy crisp bite to balance it out. YUM. Hope you are doing well. Stay tuned.
