DAY#25 - Birthday Suit
My last major attempt at loosing weight and straightening out my life was seven years ago. After a few months, people started to notice my effort and so did my Grandma Smith. Grandma wrote me a nice note encouraging me regarding my weight loss. I appreciated it very much. She wrote that she wanted to buy me a new three piece suit and a sweater. Uptil that time, I had managed to get through my life without a real suit.
I had plenty of chances to get and wear a suit. When I was in college, the school I went to required formal wear on Sundays and had formal events. I never went to a formal event because I never had the right clothing. On Sundays, I would put on a dress shirt and carry a 'token' jacket which didn't fit with me to the cafeteria to eat. I would hang it ont he back of my chair and pretend I wore it. True story.
A real genuine made just for me suit seemed like somethig I may want. At the time I was not done loosing weight and was not satisfied with where I was so I never took my Grandmother up on her offer. Slowly, I gained weight and I stored her letter in the glove compartment of our suburban.
My hope is that within the next year I will call my grandma up and take her with me on a shopping spree and get the suit she would like me to have. I may need a few good suggestions on where to go buy a nice suit. So if you have any ideas drop me a line. :)
For the record I have been doing really good and I am excited for my progress check tomorrow!!!!
