DAY#3 - Friend or Foe
So one measure of success in my new "lifestyle change" will be my weight. The object is for it to go down. However, I have a problem, I am totally Obsesive Compulsive when it comes to weighing myself. During my last diet I weighed myself at least 4-5 times a day. The scale just happened to be in the bathroom and everytime I visited my porcelain perch I felt obliged to have a look. I must admit liking statistics and having a digital scale it was interesting to watch my weight go up and down all day long. But in the end I think my obsessiveness hurt my spirits cause when you weigh yourself that often it is like watching paint dry.

The scale now has a new home in our garage on a shelf and out of my eye site. I hope to weigh myself weekly and post it to my page. Other than stepping on the scale, I also hope to take some measurements of my vital thicknesses and keep track of them too. I also plan tokeep track of my energy level & my general happyness level. This should prove to be handy for my web friends to know when is a good day to call and ask me for a favor. OK that is all for now, I plan to post some speific goals soon.
