DAY#4 - Autographs
Just for fun: My five year old, Ruth dug through her room yesterday and found her Princess autograph book from our last trip to Disney World. It had about 50 pages in it and just about all of them were filled with Belle, Mickey, Minnie signatures. I saw it laying on the sofa and asked my daughter Miriam if she would take the book and put it away in Ruth's room as we were cleaning the house before we left for the Alive/Tonight concert.
I was quickly informed by Ruth that the reason she had the book out was to get TobyMac to sign it. I smiled at the thought that Toby was gonna have a place in her book between Chip-n-Dale & Pocahontas.
So we went to the concert and Ruth clutched her book the whole time. When we arrived, we found the meet & greet and waited in line, the first person we met was John Cooper from Skillet. Ruth walked up to him and John knelt down to greet her and was very gentle and gave her a huge smile. Autographing hundreds of things a day, he knew the routine and took her Princess Autograph book out of her hand and said, "You want me to sign this?" Ruth snatched the book back and said, "NO, that page is for TobyMac." HAHAHAHAHAHHA. John eyes got big and then he quickly recovered and said "Well, who could argue with that?" and posed for a picture with her and she moved on for her prized autograph.
