DAY#120 - 100 HCG days
Today marks the close of my 100th day on the HCG protocol. I started this whole thing back on Easter Sunday, with Easter being my first loading day. When I started I weighed 339lbs. After 100 days on homeopathic HCG I now weigh 240lbs. A loss of 99lbs in 100 days. The 100 days includes 2 days of loading and 98 days of the VLCD(very low calorie diet). If you include my loading weight of 343 I can say i am down 103lbs. but I prefer to go from my starting weight so I lost 99 in 100. :)
It is safe to say I have never lost 99lbs in a 100 days before in my life. I plan on never doing it again. Seven years ago when I did Atkins, my starting weight was 50lbs more and it took me 133 days to lose 100lbs. I beat my old 'record' by a month. It makes me sad to admit I did this before, but glad that I was able to do it again.
My total weight loss since I started making positive changes in March is 113lbs. This includes my dieting loss before I found HCG. My goal for the HCG protocol is only 20lbs away and I am hoping to be done with this phase by the first half of August. The end of this leg of my journey is near and I am looking forward to the future!
On a side note, I have read some comments about using homeopathic HCG vs. prescription HCG to do this protocol. My thoughts are homeopathic worked for me well and I have no qualms recommending it to others. I will say that the HCG protocol vs. Atkins(where i had lost a bunch of weight also)my skin is not as flabby as it was with Atikins. I do have some sagging skin but not as much as Atkins. This diet did something to affect my skin tightening up more than my other dieting attempt before.
Am I done? NO, not yet!. I am just celebrating a milestone with you and offering some encouragement along the way. I have lots of thoughts about this diet and I am compiling them into a post for the day I finish phase 2. Which I hope to be in about a month. If you are considering Homeopathic HCG I now know of about 24 people that have started the protocol using hHCG after talking to me and all of them are losing pounds and inches. My mom, for example is down 30lbs in 3 weeks and going strong. Another friend did a round of 23days and lost 17lbs. Be encouraged! Do the protocol. don't cheat! You will be so happy you did!
