DAY#132 - Progress Check #19
Another week has passed and another progress check has passed too. I am a day late again due to having another swim meet yesterday. I now weigh 235lbs. a loss of 4lbs this week. It looks like for the last 3 weeks I have been averaging 4lbs a week. Compared to my 10lbs a week it doesn't seem like a lot but when compared to any other diet I have been on 4lbs is still huge.

My mind is set on stopping this diet the first week of August and transitioning to what HCGer's refer to as Phase 3. I have an appointment set to have my blood work done August 3rd and a Dr. visit to follow. I plan on switching to Phase 3 after that. I figure i would like to have my blood work at the end of phase 2 to see how healthy/unhealthy I have become and to give me a base line for the future.

So what will I do on phase 3? In phase 3 I will slowly add back in more calories increasing my intake to the recommended calories for my height/weight. However I will consume no sugar/starch for 3 weeks. That means no pasta, rice, bread, candy, potato, corn, peas, etc. I will also weigh myself daily and strive to maintain my exact weight within 2lbs. My goal in doing this is to reset my hypothalamus to maintain my new weight. If followed correctly the weight loss protocol has a 70% chance of success. So I am hoping the odds are in my favor!
