DAY#145 - C25K
Just when you thought that I had used enough abbreviations and acronyms on my blog. I am starting something new. c25k is a program to take me from the couch to being able to run a 5k in 9 weeks and I am starting the program Monday! It has been a while since i exercised regularly. I did not exercise on phase 1 of my diet, it would have been too much. I was consuming too little food, my immediate available energy supply was low and I knew pushing my limits and exercising would have left me wiped out. Thanks for Phase 3 and my normal calorie intake with plenty of nutritious food my energy level is back and I am ready to conquer the exercise world.
Many moons ago when I had lost weight, I was actually running 5k 3-4 times a week and enjoying it. However time past, i stopped running and started eating way too much and landed in over-weightville. I decided I am coming back to running and plan to master 5k by fall. A good friend started running this past year and used the c25k program and that has encouraged me to give it a shot. I am gonna start on my treadmill the first week or two and then make my way outside.
